Media & Music Blessed 1 to 1: Empowering Future Leaders

In addition to leading LA-Ink, Ami Burl is the founder of Media & Music Blessed 1 to 1, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to empower young minority women by helping them overcome imposter syndrome through enhanced public speaking and musical skills. This initiative is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, building confidence, and uplifting the community by focusing on the next generation of leaders.

The Media & Music Blessed 1 to 1 program specifically targets young women aged 10-18, providing them with opportunities to develop their oratory and music literacy skills. Through media spokesperson training, music literacy programs, and empowerment electives, the program equips minority women with the tools they need to pursue entrepreneurship and thrive as confident leaders in their fields.

MEDIA & MUSIC BLESSED 1 to 1

At Media & Music Blessed 1 to 1, we are committed to empowering young minority women by helping them discover and embrace their unique voices. Through a combination of public speaking and music literacy, our program fosters creativity, leadership, and personal growth, allowing each student to thrive in her own way.

Whether in a group setting or one-on-one, we create an environment that nurtures confidence,
individuality, and future success. We help students develop essential life skills with a dedicated
focus on:

  •  Creating Leadership Skills: Students gain the tools needed to confidently lead in any setting—whether it's the classroom, community, or beyond.

  • Fostering Creativity: Students are encouraged to explore self-expression through music
helping them tap into their creative potential.

  • Honoring Your Unique Voice: We celebrate each student’s individuality, helping them craft a personal narrative that reflects their true selves and the value they bring to the world.

  • Empowerment courses: Modeling, Presentation, & Etiquette workshops
